Pot Belly Stove
Primary tabs
Submitted by CastleVilleCrazy on Wed, 02/22/2012 - 15:13
The Pot Belly Stove you get as a reward for completing Mia's Cooking Appreciation quest is more than just a decoration. If you haven't placed it onto your kingdom yet, place it now so you can collect some great bonuses every day!
Pot Belly Stove 24 hours 1 XP, 1 Reputation, and 15 coins
Costs no energy to collect
The Pot Belly Stove produces 1 XP, 1 Reputation, and 15 coins every 24 hours. Even better - you don't spend any energy when you click to collect! If you don't have it yet, then finish the final quest in the Cooking Appreciation series - "Never Tasted So Good". You need to be at least level 11 and have finished Mia's Get Cooking quest in order to get the Cooking Appreciation quest and earn the Pot Belly Stove reward. Find it in the Decor section of your inventory. Place it anywhere in your kingdom, because it doesn't benefit from being placed on a courtyard square. We do think it looks good next to Mia's house and her big Cooking Pot.

Did this item in the quest
Did this item in the quest description not say "produces a random cooking item" ???
I was so looking forward getting it but 1 reputation is quite a difference to a random cooking item...
I think that it wasn't
I think that it wasn't described in detail during the quest in-game. The ways to get a random cooking item, AFAIK, are to attend a neighbor's Carnival party and click on a house, or to get Level 3 Mastery in a cooking recipe.
I remember it saying that too
I remember it saying that too, and I was bummed that it didn't produce a cooking item. I am glad it takes no energy to use it, though, because it's still a nice little free bonus. The only thing I can think of is that Castleville changed what reward it would give but forgot to update the description in the quest line. :-/
