More Puppy Love: "When Dukes Cry" Quest Guide

Want more puppy love? One of the Duke's Puppies has gone missing! Help the poor Duke find his furry friend before he loses it big time. This timed quest will expire 10 days after you start it. Complete it to earn an exclusive German Shepherd puppy!

NOTE: This quest line is available to players level 18 and up who have completed Kathleen's Puppy Love Quest.

"When Dukes Cry" Quest Guide

Quest 1: The Lost Prince

Quest tasks

• Tend the Duke's Butcher
  • Tip: Don't do anything else in the Duke's kingdom yet, or else you'll have to wait 24 hours to perform actions there for Quest 2.
• Collect 8 Meat from adult Pigs
• Have 5 Cow Hides

Quest rewards

• 2,000 Coins
• 40 XP

Quest 2: Somewhere Here On Earth

Quest tasks

• Perform 5 actions in the Duke's Kingdom
  • Hint: Do this task right away!  Starting the 24-hour clock before you can perform actions there again will save you time in Quest 3.
  • Hint: Play Croquet for a "freebie"!  It gives quest credit, but doesn't take up an action.
  • Hint: DON'T play with the Duke's dog Princess.  It takes up an action but DOESN'T give quest credit.
• Collect 3 Animal Bones (found from banishing Gloom Wolves and Gloom Rats)
  • Hint: Collect these from the Crypt, or ask your friends for some from your Studio in the Glue recipe.  Or you can sometimes find them in a puppy's treasure hunt box.
• Have 6 Swamp Boots (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)

Quest 3: Playtime's Over

Quest tasks

• Tend 5 Grass and Bushes in the Duke's Kingdom
  • Hint: You need to wait 24 hours after visiting him in Quest 2 before you can perform actions there again.
• Get 20 Wool (found by tending adult Sheep)
• Craft 1 Puppy Prize (Crafted in the Kitchen, Workshop, or Studio)

Quest 4: Lost Dog

Quest tasks

• Craft 6 Parchment (crafted in the Studio)
• Craft 3 Dye Kits (also crafted in the Studio)
• Visit 10 Neighbors

Quest 5: Prince's Return

Quest tasks

• Visit the Duke's Kingdom
• Craft 2 Puppy Prizes
