Kathleen's "Inn and Out" Royal Inn Quest Guide

Quinn's new friend, Kathleen the Shepherdess, wants to help you build a new Royal Inn for your kingdom.  "We have a nice inn where I live.  I've got some good ideas about building one here, if you're interested.  It should be a Royal Inn."  Kathleen's "Inn and Out" quest line consists of 13 quests.  Read on for the full  Inn and Out Quest Guide. Hints for All Quests:   Remember that a requirement to "have" something means that you can prepare it in advance.  But a requirement that you gather, harvest, or craft something means just that - having it in advance won't count.  However, items that take a long time to craft can be started in advance - just don't click to collect them until you're on the relevant quest.  Also, take a look at the materials required to make any crafted items - you can often save time by getting those together in advance.   A requirement to harvest or tend something usually (but not always) gives credit for doing it either in your own kingdom or in a neighbor's kingdom, unless it specifically says otherwise.  Remember that when you're helping in a neighbor's kingdom, you get to keep any pails of water, shells, sand, wood logs, stones, honey, berries, ogres' belches, or grubs that you collect - but you do not get to keep anything you collect from their animals or crops.  Finally, if you have any problems with a quest, report it to Zynga Customer Service.  They can often help fix your problem, and if they can't, they'll log your complaint to let development know how many people are having the same problem.

Kathleen's Inn and Out Quest Guide

Note that all quests give rewards of coins and XP.  We'll list any additional, special rewards when they occur.

1. Are you Inn? (Quest 1 of 13)

• Harvest 20 grapes
• Gather 10 Stones
• Have 10 Sand
• Reward: the Royal Inn

2. Inn The Details (Quest 2 of 13)

• Place and construct the Royal Inn (find it in your Inventory)
  • Requires 8 Wood Planks, 5 Stone Blocks, 3 Gold Bricks, and 3 Flasks.
• Have 10 Wood Logs
• Collect 4 Bellows (Ask Friends)

3. Inn-Side (Quest 3 of 13)

• Craft a Brick Oven
  • Requires 2 Stone Blocks, 2 Wood Planks, and 5 Reputation
• Get a complete crew for the Royal Inn (takes 5 friends)
• Collect from the Royal Inn

4. Shelter from the Storm (Quest 4 of 13)

• Tend 10 flowers in your kingdom
• Collect 4 Wash Basins (Ask Friends)
• Have 10 Bottles of Milk

5. Such Sweet Sorrow (Quest 5 of 13)

• Craft 4 Ropes
  • Requires 5 Flax each (20 total)
• Harvest 10 carrots
• Tend 20 animals in your Neighbors' Kingdoms

6. A Bit Sheepish (Quest 6 of 13)

• Banish the Gloom Wolf (which just appeared)
• Tend 4 Sheep
• Go Fishing

7. Penned Inn (Quest 7 of 13)

• Craft 8 Wood Fences
  • Requires 2 Wood Logs each (16 total)
• Tend your Sheep 20 times
• Place 3 Grass from the Market
• Reward: 1 Stone Wall

8. Sleep Tight (Quest 8 of 13)

• Collect 4 Lamp Oil (Ask Friends)
• Gather 10 Wood Logs
• Clear 5 Grass and Dead Trees
• Reward: 1 Lamp

9. Wolves' Clothing (Quest 9 of 13)

• Have 10 Carrots
• Collect 3 Wolf Hairs
• Collect 6 Gloom Wolf Pelts (Ask Friends)
• Reward: 5 Energy

10. On The Hunt (Quest 10 of 13)

• Banish 2 Gloom Wolves
• Banish the Wolf Pack Leader (stronger than the average Gloom Wolf)
• Tend 4 Sheep
• Reward: 1 Super Clobber

11. Long Way Home (Quest 11 of 13)

• Collect 8 Map Pieces (Ask Friends)
• Harvest 20 Carrots
• Visit 3 Neighbors
• Rewards: 1 Exploration Crystal and 1 Sheep Topiary

12. Quinn Comes Inn (Quest 12 of 13)

• Harvest 20 Tomatoes
• Craft 4 Wood Planks
  • Requires 6 Wood Logs each (24 total)
• Collect 10 Honey

13. Royal Inn Grand Opening (Quest 13 of 13)

• Visit 10 Neighbors
• Craft 5 Grape Juice (Kitchen)
  • Requires 10 Grapes and 5 Pails of Water each
    • That's a lot of Grapes, so grow some in advance - 50 Grapes total
• Have 10 Bottles of Milk
