Mia's "A Study in Sweet Buns" Quest Guide

This quest is available to levels 11 and up, after completing Mia's Cooking Appreciation Quest.  Chef Mia has a new recipe for Sweet Buns, but somebody has been swiping buns from her kitchen!  In this quest she needs your help to track down the culprit, and bake some more Sweet Buns.

"A Study in Sweet Buns" Quest Guide

Quest 1 of 5: Playing Detective

• Bake 3 Sweet Buns
• Tend 5 Flowers in your kingdom
• Tax 3 Houses in your kingdom

Quest 2 of 5: Corruption in Dukedom

• Visit the Duke
• Collect 6 Magnifying Glasses (post to friends)
• Fish 10 times to look for evidence
  • Tip: Fish in a neighbor's kingdom to save energy

Quest 3 of 5: The Face of Innocence

• Craft 1 cupcake
• Harvest 10 wheat (in your kingdom)
• Feed 5 cows
  • Tip: Do this in a neighbor's kingdom to save energy

Quest 4 of 5: Incriminating Evidence

• Bake 2 sweet buns
• Collect 3 love letters (post to friends)
  • Tip: Make sure you have room in your inventory to get 3.  If you already have the maximum (15), sell at least 3 to make room.
    
• Collect 5 flour sacks
  • Either craft in the Kitchen or collect from a Mill

A Gloom Thief will appear in your kingdom upon completion of this quest.

Quest 5 of 5: Just Desserts

• Craft any 5 items in your kitchen
  • Tip: Craft either Sticks of Butter or Flaxseed Oil - both 5 minute recipes
• Tend 5 neighbors' kitchens
  • Tip: Either accelerating or collecting a neighbor's kitchen will count
• Banish 1 Gloom Thief
  • Tip: You'll actually have several Gloom Thieves appear (see below)

Warning: While this quest is active, a new Gloom Thief will appear every time you collect a Kitchen in your kingdom.  You'll need to banish each one to unblock the Kitchen it appears next to.  Move other buildings and animals away from your Kitchens in advance, to keep them out of the blocked area.  And make sure you can finish tending the 5 neighbors' kitchens without delay, to avoid prolonging the quest.

Reward: Mia's Butter Churn

Mia's Butter Churn produces 1 Stick of Butter and 1 XP every 8 hours.
