Tom's "A Dragon State of Mind" Quest Guide

Tom the Valiant Knight is back, ready to consider settling down for a while.  And he wants to prepare you for fighting Gloom Dragons, by teaching you to think like them.  Build Tom a house and learn to "become one with your inner Gloom Dragon" to earn some great rewards - including a Dragon Head Mask to wear!  The quest line "A Dragon State of Mind" has 10 parts.

Tip: Plant some Wheat on Quest 7 if not sooner.  You'll need to harvest 20 Wheat, a 24 hour crop, for Quest 8.

Quest 1: A New Resident

Quest Tasks

• Collect taxes from Royal buildings in your kingdom 10 times
• Tend 6 Flowers
  • Hint: Do this in neighbors' kingdoms to save energy
• Feed Animals 12 times
  • Hint: Do this in neighbors' kingdoms to save energy

• 1000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 2: Tom Homes In

Quest Tasks

• Place the foundations of Tom's House.
  • Find it in the Buildings section of your Inventory.
• Construct Tom's House.
  • Materials: 20 Stones and 20 Wood Logs
  • Taxes produced: 1100 Coins every 6 Hours
• Collect taxes from Tom's House.

Quest Rewards

• 1000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 3: Sleeping Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks

• Have 20000 Coins
• Collect 8 Red Feathers
  • Either get by tending peacocks, or post to friends
• Have 6 Alarm Bells (post to friends)

• 1 Super Chop
• 1000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 4: Eating Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks

• Have 4 Chicken Meat
• Collect 15 Bass
  • Fish in your own kingdom, or collect from friends' reward posts on the game news feed
• Tend Sheep 5 times
  • Hint: Do this in neighbors' kingdoms to save energy

Quest Rewards

• 1000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 5: Hoarding Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks:

• Tax 10 Buildings
• Collect 6 Silver Ore
  • Collect from Mining Camps, or mine rocks, or collect from friends' reward posts in the game news feed
  • Hint: Mine rocks in neighbors' kingdoms to save energy.
  • Go on a treasure hunt with your puppy if you have one.  Silver ore is sometimes found in buried treasure.
• Visit 5 Neighbors

Quest 6: Reciting Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks:

• Collect taxes from Yvette's House 3 times
  • Yvette's House takes 30 minutes to become ready
• Visit 10 Neighbors
• Have 3 Animal Bones
  • Hint: Ask friends for these either from your Beastie Lab (on the Alchemist Powder recipe) or from your Studio (Glue recipe)

Quest 7: Breathing Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks:

• Consume 3 Bubbly Grogs
• Have 10 Flaxseed Oil
• Have 35 Wood Logs

Quest 8: Abducting Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks:

• Have 6 Baking Soda (post to friends)
• Have 2 Practice Dummies
• Harvest 20 Wheat

Quest Rewards:

• 1 Small Energy Potion
• 1750 Coins
• 35 XP

Quest 9: Fly Like a Dragon

Quest Tasks:

• Collect 25 Red Feathers
• Craft 12 Wood Planks
• Mine 15 Rocks
  • Hint: Do this in neighbors' kingdoms to save energy

Quest 10: In Pain... Like a Dragon?

Quest Tasks:

• Craft 7 Wool Thread
• Have 5 Ice Chunks
  • Tip: Ask friends for these in advance either from your Workshop (on the Ice Pick recipe) or Kitchen (Ice Cream recipe)
• Craft 1 Saucy Tart
