"Faugrimm's Vacation" Quest Guide

Poor Faugrimm's worked himself to the bone, and left his new apprentice Glumwort in charge while he goes on vacation.  Investigate his devious plans, and expand your Kingdom with new expansions unlocked to the North!

Quest 1

Quest tasks

• Place the Magic Mirror base in your Kingdom
• Build the Magic Mirror
• Click on the completed Magic Mirror to activate it

Quest tasks

• Explore the area near Mount Gloom
  • This task will be pre-checked if you have already explored the area with the Unicorn Tower in it.
• Collect 5 Pails of Water
• Activate the Magic Mirror again

Quest 3

Quest tasks

• Have 3 Rubber Gloves (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Tax 6 Buildings in your Kingdom
• Explore the area with Mount Gloom in it

• 4 Knitting Flowers (stored under the Nature section of your Inventory)

Quest tasks

• Craft 3 Slime Dissolvers in the Kitchen
• Free Glumwort with Slime Dissolvers
• Cleanse 2 Slimed items

Slime Dissolver Recipe and Materials Required

• Craft in the Kitchen, takes 1.5 hours
• 3 Salt
  • Get by mining Salt Rocks, or ask friends
• 1 Vinegar (post to friends)
• 5 Milk Bottles
• 3 Shells

Quest tasks

• Have 6 Baking Soda from asking friends
• Cleanse Mount Gloom of slime
• Visit 6 Neighbors

• Explore further into the Gloom
• Banish 3 Beasties
• Cleanse the Salt Mine
  • Salt Mine: Crafting Support building; produces 5 Salt every 6 hours
  • Tip: Place the Salt Mine near Rocks to speed production (just like Mining Camps)

Quest tasks

• Consume 1 Vegetable Cocktail (stored under the Consumables Inventory, crafted in the Kitchen)
  • 1.5 hours; 12 Carrots, 8 Cabbage, 6 Oats, 5 Tomatoes
• Craft 1 Xtra Strong Cleanser (in the Studio)
  • 1 Slime Dissolver, 3 Baking Soda (ask friends), 3 Sticks of  Butter, 1 Rubber Glove (post to friends)
• Cleanse a layer of slime off of Mount Gloom

Mount Gloom Cleansing Materials Required

• 1 Xtra Strong Cleanser
• 8 Wool Cloth
• 3 Hammers
• 4 Bars of Soap

• 1 Wash Tub (stored under the Decor section of your Inventory)
• 1,750 Coins
• 35 XP

Quest tasks

• Have 7 Walks on the Beach (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Fish 12 Times
• Cleanse the last layer off of Mount Gloom

• 2 Xtra Strong Cleanser
• 2 Wool Cloth
• 5 Hammers
• 8 Chisels

• Have 6 Wood Planks (crafted in the Workshop)
• Rebuild the Tower of Gloom

• 5 Iron Bars

  • 9 Frog Kisses (post to friends), 6 Flaming Grog, 6 Milk Bottles, 3 Glue
• Banish the Glumwort Beastie

FAQ

Q: Why isn't my Magic Mirror activating?
A: If you're on quest #2, you'll need to gather the Pails of Water, and Explore the area next to where Mount Gloom is, before it will be activated.
