"Battle for the Portal" Quest Guide

Faugrimm has captured Blaze, a Dragon fighting to protect a mysterious Portal! Save Blaze and find out what the Portal is for, and what Faugrimm has planned for it!  Unlock new land expansions as you explore to the North, and earn a new Fairy Costume for your avatar.

Quest 1: A Portal Too Far

• Have 4 Hedge Shears (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Explore the Gloom in search of the mysterious Portal
• Click on the Ice Bramble Wall to inspect it

• Craft 1 Mace of Nullification (in the Workshop)
  • Tip: If you're unable to craft this item, make sure you do not have a Faugrimm Doll in your inventory, because that may trigger a glitch.

Alastair reports that the Dimensional Portal is too badly damaged for you to repair it.  But he will continue to study its pieces, so perhaps someday you can build a new one of your own!
