Pet Baby Dragons: "Little Bundle of Fire" Quest Guide and Treasure Hoard Hunting

Baby Dragons are here! Ember's back to teach you all you need to know about raising your own Pet Dragons, and getting all sorts of treasure while you're at it! Check out the guide below to get started.

 "Little Bundle of Fire" Quest Guide

Tip: Plant some Cabbage while you're on quest 7 or sooner.  You'll need to harvest 6 Cabbage for Quest 8.

Quest 1: Glowing Ember

Quest tasks

• Place the Dragon Egg from your Inventory
• Chop 3 Trees
• Have 1 Silver Ore (found from mining Rocks)

Quest rewards

• 1,000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 2: Dousing the Flames

Quest tasks

• Have 5 Steel Pipes (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Craft 1 Cotton Cloth in the Studio
• Place 2 Moats (purchased under the Nature section of the Market)

• 1,000 Coins
• 20 XP
• 1 Super Chop

Quest 3: Wonderful Things

Quest tasks

• Tax 6 Houses
• Have 2 Bags of Nails (collected from Blacksmith Crafting Support Buildings)
• Sell 10 Items
  • Tip: Go to the Materials section of your inventory, and sell some stuff you don't need

• 1,000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 4: Domesticating Dragons

Quest tasks

• Craft 1 Dragon Collar (crafted in the Studio)
• Collect 6 Chicken Meat (found from tending adult Chickens)
  • Tip: You can feed your chickens every 10 minutes.  Keep feeding them, and eventually you'll collect enough chicken meat.
• Buy 5 new Decorations
  • Tip: anything from the Decor section of the market will work - it doesn't have to be one of the "specials".

• Have 1 Regal Kennel (purchased under the Buildings section of the Market)
• Place the Torching Post (found under the Decor section of your Inventory)
• Have 14 Piles of Sand (found from fishing)

• Use 2 Gloom Wolf Potions
• Finish construction on the Torching Post
  • Materials: 6 Phoenix Feathers (post to friends), 6 Wood Clubs, 1 Fasteners, 5 Wool Threads

• Collect 5 Animal Bones (found by banishing some Beasties, or by asking friends)
  • Tip: You can also get Animal Bones from the Crypt, the Doghouse, or find them in Puppy Treasures

• Collect 1 Flint by mining Rocks in your Kingdom

  • Materials: 3 Imp Hair (post to friends), 6 Stuffing (ask friends), 10 Red Feathers, 3 Coal

• Click on the Regal Kennel to view the rewards baby Dragons give (click on the Dragon Rewards button on your Baby Dragon when it's currently selected in the Regal Kennel)

• Select an item from your Dragon's Treasure Hoard (click on Dragon after he/she's happy in order to find treasure)

FAQ

Q: I'm trying to purchase 5 new Decorations, but it's not letting me, why not?

A: If you're trying to purchase Royal Decorations, but are at the limit that you can have for your current level, you will need to store or sell some before you can purchase and place new ones. Regular Decorations do not have a limit to how many you can have in your Kingdom at a time, however.

Q: I want a different colored Dragon, can I buy another one?

A: Yes, new colored Dragons will be coming out soon!

Q: How do I rename my Dragon?

A: First thing you'll need to do is make sure your Dragon is "selected" in your Regal Kennel. If it's not currently following you around in your Kingdom, click on your Dragon's "select" button in the Regal Kennel, and then on your Dragon's name in the larger picture on the left.

Treasure Hoard Hunting Guide

In order to convince your new Baby Dragon to share some of the treasure from its Treasure Hoard with you, you'll need to make sure it's happy first. Making your Baby Dragon happy is easy! Check out the few steps below to see how.

1. The first thing you'll want to do to make your Pet Dragon happy is to play with it. Hovering your mouse over your Dragon's head will show its happiness bar. Fill this up to make your Dragon happy! (See step 2)
   
    
2. You can make your Dragon happy by giving it a Piece of Flint, found from mining Rocks, and playing with it until its happiness bar is full. Or, you can make your Baby Dragon happy instantly by crafting and giving it a Fireproof Chew Toy from the Studio.
   
3. Once your Dragon is happy and you've clicked on it, it will give you a choice between 1 of 3 (of many) treasures to choose from. Keep making your Dragon happy in order to find countless awesome treasures!
