Hazel's Heartbreak Quest Guide and Spirit Magic Spells Guide

Hazel the Ice Witch is upset Faugrimm has been neglecting her and is looking to crash at your Kingdom for a bit. While she is there, she will teach you some really crazy spells with enchanting rewards!  Keep Hazel out of trouble in your kingdom, while Alastair helps you learn Spirit Magic spells.

Hazel's Heartbreak Quest Guide

Flour Sacks have been required in several of the recent quest lines, and this one is no exception.  You'll need 24 Flour Sacks to complete these quests, so plant more wheat!

Quest 1: Castle Crasher

• Feed 3 Cows
• Tend 2 Flowers
• Have A Spellbook Of Spirit Magic

    After speaking with Hazel, pick up the spellbook that she dropped.

Quest 2: Ice Meeting You

Quest tasks  

• Clear 1 Grass
  • Special note: This unlocks Alastair's "No Place Like Throne" quest to uncover Faugrimm's Frozen Throne
• Prepare the Frostmite Spell
• Cast the Frostmite Spell 2 Times
  • Tip: You'll need a large open space to cast the spell, but the Stalagmite decoration it creates takes very little room.

• 3 Aquamarines
• 6 Pails of Water

Quest 3: Rat-Atouille

Quest tasks  

• Craft 2 Wood Clubs
• Cast The Charm Gloom Rat Spell
• Feed 2 Tamed Gloom Rats
  • Tip: Tame Gloom Rats drop Gloom Rat Tails, and sometimes Animal Bones

• 5 Ogre's Belch
• 2 Magic Flute (post to friends)
• 5 Honey

Quest 4: Where is the Love?

• Have 8 Cocoa
• Have 3 Stuffed Yetis (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Craft 1 Faugrimm Doll, in the Studio.  Materials:
  • 6 Icy Heart (ask friends)
  • 2 Stone Block
  • 12 Beeswax
  • 3 Alchemist Powder

Quest 5: Icy Manipulator

• Cast The Bird Dazzle Spell On 2 Peacocks
• Craft 2 Leathers
• Feed 2 Bird-Dazzled Peacocks
  • Tip: A Dazzled Peacock gives a random gem, in addition to the usual feathers
