Yulefest Presents Quest Guide

Wrap as many Yulefest Presents as you can before December 25th! The more you wrap, the more you open and the bigger the rewards.

This is a partnership mechanic feature based around Presents. Team up with a neighbor (if you want) to wrap a Present on your Kingdom. You'll have 7 days to wrap each Present--the more you wrap it, the bigger the reward when you open it (there are three categories of rewards). Each Present can be wrapped up to 40 times. But you can't open them until December 25.

Yulefest Presents Quest Guide

Kris Kringle has a Magic Bag to place in your Kingdom.

Quest 1: In The Bag

Yulefest is on its way, so it's time for the Great Yulefest Gift Swap! The Duke hasn't done one of these in a long time, and Kringle knows someone just perfect for the wrapping job...

Quest Tasks

• Place Kringle's Magic Bag
• Begin wrapping 1 Present
• Tax 5 Houses to see everyone's wishlist

Place the Magic Bag in your Kingdom:

Kringle's Magic Bag

Click on the Magic Bag to the get the "Naughty-Or-Nice List".  It shows you all the presents you currently have in your kingdom.

To start wrapping a new present, click "Start!" on any of the boxes:

This screen will show you some of the random prizes you get when you unwrap the Present, depending on how big the Present gets. There are three sizes: Medium, Large and Epic.

Start the Wrapping process by clicking on "Start!":

As with other partner mechanics, you'll be ask to partner with a friend or neighbor to help you along:

Here's the Present Wrapping window. You can choose to buy the crafting materials for the Gift Wrap or get the individual opponents by collecting them from your Kingdom and your friends. Once you have enough of the crafting materials, the "Buy All" button will change to "Make" and you can craft the Gift Wrap. You can store up to 99 at one time. 

Gift Wrap Crafting Materials

• 1 Yulefest Ribbon (post to friends)

• 5 Beeswax

• 2 Wrapping Paper (find by collecting tax from houses in your own kingdom)

When you have some Gift Wrap, click on the "Wrap Present" button to use the Gift Wrap on the Present.

The size of the Present (and the rewards therein) depends on how much Gift Wrap you (and your partner, should you choose to have one) use before the 7-day period is up:

• Medium: 5 Gift Wrap
• Large: 18 Gift Wrap
• Epic: 40 Gift Wrap

Quest 2: Wrapper's Delight

Kringle's Magic Bag is pretty deep. Don't fall in!

Quest Tasks

• Have 3 Yulefest Cards to send to your loved ones.
• Craft 3 Gift Wraps.
• Feed 10 Animals to get into the giving spirit.

Quest Rewards:

• 1750 Coins
• 35 XP

Quest 3: A Jolly Medium

Kringle doesn't want small Presents. He wants BIG Presents.

Quest Tasks

• Make 5 Gift Wraps to make your Presents pretty.
• Go fishing 5 times to think up great gifts for your friends.
• Craft 3 Egg Grogs. The essential holiday beverage!

• 4 Yogurt (ask friends)
• 5 Ogre's Belch
• 7 Eggs
• 5 Ice Chunks

Quest Rewards:

• 1750 Coins
• 35 XP

Quest 4: Givin' Large

Quest Tasks

• Have 5 Holly Springs to deck all your halls. (post to friends)
• Make 7 Gift Wraps to make your Presents even prettier!
• Start wrapping 2 more Yulefest Presents.

• 1750 Coins
• 35 XP

Quest 5: Present & Accounted For

All the Presents are awesome but... Kringle implores you to make the most Epic Present ever!

Quest Tasks

• Make 10 Gift Wraps to make your Presents the prettiest ones EVER!
• Cast the Shakedown Spell 2 times to get some extra Wrapping Paper.
• Visit 3 Neighbors to sing them Yulefest Carols.

• 1750 Coins
• 35 XP

Quest 6: Happy Yulefest!

The pile of Presents is a wonder to behold! But you have to wait for Yulefest Day to open them. What will you do till then? Well, wrap more Presents of course!

Quest Tasks

• Open your Yulefest Presents on Yulefest Day!
• Start wrapping 2 more Presents.
• Craft 3 Pumpkin Pies to celebrate Yulefest with everyone!

Pumpkin Pie Crafting Recipe

• 2 Pumpkin Filling
• 6 Flour Sacks
• 8 Eggs
• 6 Sugar

Quest Rewards:

• 1750 Coins
• 35 XP
• 1 Reindeer Rudolph

When the 7-day time runs out or you get an Epic Present (40 wraps), whichever comes first, you'll get this window when you click on the Present:

It'll show how long you need to wait to unwrap your Present - either 12/25/2012 or 7 days after you started it, whichever comes later. When December 25 rolls around, the Presents will begin to be ready for unwrapping:

Click on "Finish" and you'll get your rewards!
