The Mysterious Egg *WARNING SPOILERS*

Your Subjects have found a mysterious giant Egg!  What could be inside? (Better make sure the Duke doesn't cook it up.)  Read on for hints and tips to help you solve the mystery and hatch the Egg.

Hopefully, this quest's plot line previews a new expansion to be available in the near future.  Stay tuned!

Prepare Yourself: Time-Saving Tips

Plant 10 Wheat (24-hour crop) when you're on quest 3 if not sooner.  Wait to harvest it though - you'll need to harvest it for quest 4.

You'll need the following ingredients.  Grow, craft or ask friends for them as necessary to collect the materials in advance.

• 30 Grapes
• 10 Tomatoes
• 15 Ice Chunks (ask friends in the Kitchen on the Ice Cream recipe, or in the Workshop on any of the Ice Pick recipes)
• 2 Dye Kits
• 8 Clay (ask friends from the Workshop on the Mortar recipe)
• 10 Wool
• 3 Alchemist Powder
• 1 Leather
• 1 Hammer
• 2 Diamonds
• 5 Stone Blocks
• 20 Coal (ask friends in the Workshop on the Steel Bar recipe)
• 3 Hard Boiled Eggs

Quest 3: The Unicorn Egg

• Fish 3 times in Neighbors' Kingdoms
• Tend 15 Flowers
  • Tip: Do this in a neighbor's kingdom to save energy
• Make 3 Ice Creams (crafted in the Kitchen)
  • Ice Cream Recipe: 2.5 hours; 5 Ice Chunks, 5 Milk, 2 Honey

Quest 4: Nest of the Unicorn

• Feed 20 Animals

• Harvest 10 Wheat

Quest 5: To Hatch a Unicorn

Quest tasks

• Collect 10 Pails of Water by fishing
  • Tip: Do this in a neighbor's kingdom to save energy
• Have 12 Berries
• Craft 1 Glue (crafted in the Studio)
  • Recipe: 1.5 hours; 5 Animal Bones, 2 Water, 5 Honey, 2 Beeswax

Quest 6: Hear Me Roar

Quest tasks

• Tax 15 Houses
  • Tip: Do this in a neighbor's kingdom to save energy
• Clear (or Tend) 10 Nature items in your Kingdom
  • Tip: It actually gives credit for doing this in either your kingdom OR in a neighbor's kingdom!
  • Tip: You can tend any type of Plant for credit (except trees) - not just grass.  Flowers, Ferns, Roots,  Mushrooms, etc will give credit.

             Time: 5 minutes; Materials: 1 Leather, 1 Hammer, 10 Tomatoes, 4 Red Feathers

Quest 10: Better Beastie Banishment

Quest tasks

• Activate the Dragon Summoner (click to activate)

• Summon a Beastie
• Use Ember to banish the Beastie (banish by activating the Dragon Summoner and then by clicking on the Beastie)

Aftermath

Ember the friendly dragon is the Mystery Egg's mother.  She appears when you build the Dragon Nest and is overjoyed to find her lost Egg, safe and sound.  In gratitude she gives you a Dragon Summoner that you can use to call her in the future.

The Dragon Summoner is yours to keep.  You can re-activate it again and again by clicking it and paying the materials cost.  When you activate it, Ember becomes ready to help.  Click on any Gloom Beastie to target it, and Ember will instantly destroy that beastie.

Nest Building Requirements

Click the Egg Stand to build each version of the Egg Nest, when the appropriate Quest is active.

Unicorn Nest

• 3 Marshmallows (post to friends), 12 Sugar, 2 Sweet Buns, 8 Cotton

Griffin Nest

• 2 Dye Kits, 8 Clay, 10 Wool, 3 Alchemist Powder

Dragon Nest

• 2 Diamonds, 5 Stone Blocks, 20 Coal, 3 Hard Boiled Eggs

Dragon Summoner

• 2 Chicken Meat, 3 Dragon Scales

FAQ

Q: I activated the Dragon Summoner but Ember is not coming to banish the Beastie. What do I need to do? 
A: Ember will need to know which Beastie you want banished; once the Dragon Summoner is activated, just click on the Beastie and she'll take care of the rest.
