Rafael's #1 Fan Quest Guide

Rafael received his first fan letter since being trapped in the Gloom from someone claiming to be his #1 fan. Help Rafael make preparations for his special fan to visit your Kingdom, and find out who it is!

Note: WARNING! Quest #9 below contains spoilers that reveal who Rafael's Number One Fan is. 

Players must reach level 15 before unlocking this quest line.

Tips

• You'll need 42 Cotton to craft Parchment for Quest 3, so start collecting some.  You can send Cotton as a free gift to your friends and ask them to send some back, or grow it.  You could ask friends to send you some Cotton, but we recommend saving your limited daily requests for other things.
• You'll need to sell 10 weapons from your inventory for Quest 8.  Stock up on Wood Clubs to be prepared!
• You'll need to have 4 Iron Axes, so craft those in advance.

Quest 1: Dear Rafael,

Quest tasks

• Place Rafael's Fan Letter Box (found under the Decor section of your Inventory)
• Craft 1 Berry Smoothie in the Kitchen
• Have 3 Pails of Water

Fan Letter Box Construction Materials Required

• 10 Wood Planks
• 10 Bags of Nails
• 5 Mortar
• 5 Keepsake Box (post to friends)

• 1,000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 2: Looking for Trouble

Quest tasks

• Craft 1 Axe in the Workshop
• Use 1 Beastie Potion
• Banish the summoned Beastie

Quest 3: So Responsive

Quest tasks

• Craft 7 Parchment in the Studio
• Collect 15 Red Feathers
• Have 6 Autographed Sketches of Rafael (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on theNewsfeed)

• 30 XP

Quest 4: Fan the Flames

Quest tasks

• Finish building Rafael's Fan Letter Box
• Collect a letter from the Fan Letter Box
• Visit 10 Neighbors

• 1 Small Energy Potion

Quest 5: Task Impossible

Quest tasks

• Craft 10 Flaxseed Oil in the Kitchen
• Have 25 Milk
• Craft 1 Rafael's Cologne in the Studio.  Recipe and materials required:
  • 9 Hours
  • 8 Honey
  • 5 Pine Cones (find by watering Pine Tree Saplings)
  • 1 Iron Axe
  • 3 Secret Ingredient (ask friends)

Quest 6: Bruised Feelings

Quest tasks

• Collect another letter from Rafel's Fan Letter Box
• Tend Yvette's House
• Craft 3 Bedding in the Studio
  • Tip: Although it says "craft", you'll actually get quest credit if you already "have" 3 bedding in your inventory!

• 30 XP

Quest 7: Clean Freak

Quest tasks

• Store 10 items in your Kingdom
• Tend 25 Flowers
  • Must be in your own kingdom
• Have 8 Bars of Soap (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)

• 20 XP

Quest 8: Anything for a Fan

Quest tasks

• Sell 10 Weapons from your Inventory
• Banish all the Beasties in your Kingdom
• Tend 20 Houses

• Banish the 5 Beasties around Rafael's House
