Sonja's Pirate Tavern Quest Guide

Sonja misses the sea life.  Convince her to stay in your kingdom by helping her open a new Pirate Tavern!

Help Sonja open up her Pirate Tavern, and get rewarded with free Bubbly Grog every day.  Complete Sonja's other questlines and reach level 27 to start this quest.

Tips:

• These quests have several lengthy crafting requirements.  Craft these materials in advance if possible:

  • 74 Cotton Thread
  • 25 Wood Planks
  • 5 Gold Bricks
  • 3 Leather Aprons
  • 12 Hot Buns
  • 9 Crafted Glass
  • 3 Dye Kits
  • 23 Iron Bars
  • 7 Hammers
  • 20 Wood Planks
  • 1 Cog
• Collect these ingredients.  Some of the quantities required are more than your maximum inventory capacity, so you can't stock up on all of it at one time.
  • 95 Wood Logs
  • 24 Fire Runes
  • 5 Diamonds
  • 55 Alchemist Powder
  • 36 Pieces of Meat
  • 9 Cabbage
  • 9 Tomato
  • 70 Water
  • 70 Ogre's Belches
  • 70 Chili Peppers
• You'll need to raise your Castle Level by 300 Castle Points to finish Quest 8.  If you have already built all the Royal buildings in your kingdom this will be very hard.  You can make it easier by deliberately lowering your Castle Point Level just before starting Quest 8.
  • Put most if not all of your Royal Decorations into storage, before completing Quest 7, to lower your Castle Points.
  • Place them back into your Kingdom during Quest 8 to raise your Castle Level back up.

Quest 1: Please Stay

• Craft 15 Wood Planks
• Tend 40 Flowers (in your own kingdom)
• Spend 100000 Coins

Rewards:

Quest 2: Going Viral

• Place the Pirate Tavern foundation
• Craft 5 Ornate Tapestries
• Have 10 Clothespins (post to friends)

Rewards:

• 3250 Coins
• 65 X

Quest 3: Cobblestone Cred

• Craft 8 Boom Sticks
• Collect Coins 20 times from Neighbors' Kingdoms' houses
• Consume 8 Green Fairy Elixirs (crafted in the Studio)
  • Materials: 3 Corks (ask friends), 3 Grubs, 10 Sugar
  • Get Grubs by clearing Dead Logs or tending Experimental Flowers

Rewards:

• 4250 Coins
• 85 XP
• Blue Mystery Box

Quest 4: Sonja's Grand Opening

• Build Sonja's Pirate Tavern
  •  Materials Required:
    • 10 Wood Planks
    • 5 Gold Bricks
    • 3 Leather Aprons
    • 1 Skull and Crossbones (from Sonja's "Treasure Hunt" quest line)
    • 1 Sonja's Anchor (from Sonja's Cursed Chest)
  •  The Pirate Taver produces 1 Bubbly Grog every day
• Craft 7 Horseshoes
• Chop trees 40 times

Quest 5: Take a Number

• Banish 20 Beasties
• Craft 3 Meat Sandwiches
• Have 10 Red Ribbons (ask friends)

• Craft 10 Flaming Grog
• Craft 3 Stained Glass
• Tend 30 nature items

Quest 7: Date Knight

• Craft 1 Catapult
• Have 10 Lemon Slices (ask friends)
• Craft 5 Kegs

Rewards:

• 5250 Coins
• 105 XP

Quest 8: Nautical Nostalgia

• Use 8 Swords
• Fish 20 times in your kingdom
• Raise your Castle Level by 300 points
