Save the Unicorns: Unicornucopia Quest Guide

The great Unicorn migration is here! Help Yvette make preparations through the Gloom so that the Unicorns may safely pass through your Kingdom!  These quests unlock 3 new expansions into the Gloom to the North for your kingdom.

Unicornucopia Quest Guide

Tip: Attend, and throw, as many Unicornucopia Parties as possible to stock up on rewards.  Craft and throw a party in your kingdom and when it's finished, craft and throw another!  Scroll through your neighbor bar every day and click to visit every one with a party.  Collecting those party favors is the best way to get Unicorn item crafting materials, which you'll need in large quantities.  Unicorn Hair and Magic Rainbow Hoof-prints are common treasure drops, making them easy to collect at parties.  The Rainbow Drop and Rainbow Prism are a rare loot drop for party guests and also come with your party host reward.

Here are some of the materials you'll need to stock up on for these quests.  Note: The Rainbow Prism recipe was changed on June 7th to require Coal instead of Diamonds, so there is no more need for any Diamond in these quests.

Quest 1: Unicorn-U-Copia

Quest tasks

• Move 1 item in your Kingdom
• Tend 1 Flower
• Collect Taxes from 2 Houses

Quest rewards

• 1,000 Coins
• 20 XP
• 7 Unicorn Hair
• 6 Wood Planks
• 3 Unicorn Punch

Quest 2: Party Like Unicorns!

Quest tasks

• Have 1 Party Pavilion (purchased in the Buildings section of the Market)
• Spend 10,000 Coins decorating your Kingdom
  • Tip: It doesn't matter what you spend the coins on; anything will count including buildings and nature items.
• Host 1 Unicornucopia Party (host a Party by crafting the Unicornicopia Party in the Pavilion)

• 1,000 Coins
• 20 XP

Quest 3: Exploration Go!

Quest tasks

• Craft 4 Wood Clubs in the Workshop
• Craft 2 Unicorn Tiles in the Pavilion
• Explore the area where the Spirit Unicorn vanished

Quest Rewards

• 1,500 Coins
• 30 XP
• 1 Celebration Topiary Unicorn (stored under the Decor section of your Inventory)

Quest 4: Stand Back!

Quest Tasks

• Banish 3 Gloom Wolves
• Restore the Beacon of Wisdom (click on the Beacon to restore)
• Clear 1 Amythite Rock

Quest Rewards

• 1,500 Coins
• 30 XP

Quest 5: Fixer Upper

Quest Tasks

• Craft 5 Glue (crafted in the Studio)
  • Each Glue takes 5 Animal Bones, 2 Water, 5 Honey, 2 Beeswax
  • Tip: Collect Water, Honey, and Beeswax in a neighbor's kingdom to save energy
• Craft 4 Fasteners (also crafted in the Studio, requires Blacksmith to unlock)
  • Each Fasteners takes 1 Iron Bar, 10 Reputation
• Restore the Beacon of Courage

Quest 6: For the Unicorns!

Quest Tasks

• Have 7 Thick Books (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Restore the Beacon of Happiness
• Restore the Beacon of Creativity

Note: due to a widespread but minor problem in CastleVille on Facebook, you might need to refresh your game to force this quest to complete, after you've finished all of the tasks.

Quest 7: Scouting Ahead

Quest Tasks

• Craft 2 Berry Scones (crafted in the Kitchen)
• Collect 8 Wool (found from tending adult Sheep)
• Explore the area close by

Quest 8: The One Tower

• Craft 4 Hammers (crafted in the Workshop)
• Remove 2 Amythite Rocks
• Restore the Beacon of Generosity

Quest 9: Six Degrees of Beacon

Quest Tasks

• Craft 2 Unicorn Fences (crafted in the Pavilion)
• Restore the Beacon of Friendship
• Have 1 Celebration Peacock (crafted in the Pavilion)

• 4,250 Coins
• 85 XP

Quest 10: The Unicorn Tower

Quest Tasks

• Restore the Beacon of Hope
• Host 1 more Unicornucopia Party
  • Tip: It's OK to start the party before beginning this quest.  If you have an active party it will count towards quest completion.
• Have 2 Tomato Bisque (crafted in the Kitchen)

Restoring the Beacons requires the following building materials.  Note that the necessary Rainbow Prisms are a Unicornucopia Party Favor item.

Beacon of Courage

8 Stone Blocks, 1 Rainbow Prism, 5 Moon Beans (post to friends), 10 Unicorn Sparkles (ask friends)

Beacon of Happiness

3 Leather, 2 Rainbow Prisms, 8 Wood Planks, 10 Unicorn Sparkles (ask friends)

Beacon of Creativity

10 Stone Blocks, 2 Rainbow Prisms, 5 Grindstones (crafted in the Kitchen), 10 Unicorn Balloons (ask friends)

Beacon of Generosity

5 Gold Bricks, 3 Rainbow Prism, 7 Moon Beans (post to friends), 6 Mythium

Beacon of Friendship

5 Gold Bricks, 4 Rainbow Prisms, 6 Canned Laughter (post to friends), 20 Iron Ore (find by mining, or ask friends)

Beacon of Hope
