Tip: How to automatically tend your Royal Crew positions

You probably know that the crown-on-shield icon in purple and gold on a friend's picture in the neighbor bar means that you're on the Crew for one or more of their Royal buildings. But that icon is more than just informational. You can use it to quickly find all the Royal buildings you're crewing, and even to automatically tend them all with just a click.

Auto-Find Royal Crew
When you visit a neighbor, you don't need to search all over their kingdom for the Royal buildings. Just click the crown icon on their picture. It will locate the first Royal building that you need to tend. If you have more, click it again and it will take you right to the next one, cycling though all your crew buildings if you keep clicking. It's easy! No hunting, no missing any, no problem.
Auto-Tend Royal Crew
While you're visiting a neighbor, hold down the Shift key while you click on the crown icon. It will automatically drive your avatar around the kingdom to tend all the Royal buildings on which you're a crew member! You won't see the screen move, but your counter will go down as each building is tended.
Note: this feature may not work when the game is in full screen mode. If it's not working for you, make sure you're not in full screen mode (hit Escape) and then try again. Did these tips help you?

Royal crew tending
Hello,
I would like to know something;if I have more than 5 royal buildings to tend in my neighbours kingdom (alliance) which one I have to tend? I mean,in this case,I can not tend other buildings in that kingdom and how long do I have to tend ALLIANCE Royal buildings?
Thank you!
Re: Royal crew tending
Good question! This is a common issue because players who don't have a lot of neighbors tend to end up with people on more than 5 Royal Building Crews. You're already being a good neighbor just by visiting and tending any of those Royal Crew positions. Rest assured that most players would be happy to have their neighbors do what you're already doing.
So which buildings are really the best to tend? For you as the visiting neighbor, it doesn't really make a difference. There are no special "Alliance" buildings. Anything you tend in a friend's kingdom, building or otherwise, gives the exact same Alliance points. The only thing that ever changes your Alliance point earning rate is if the neighbor is throwing a party.
From the perspective of the friend you're visiting, it might or might not matter very much. The best way to tell what anybody really wants tended is to ask! Your clicks on their Royal buildings help them to level up those buildings for higher Castle points, until they're maxed out at level 10. Your friend can tell you which, if any, of their Royals are at level 10 and no longer really need tending. And your friend can tell you if they're less concerned with Castle points than with something else, for example if they'd rather have you accelerate some crops or crafting buildings, etc. In general, though, you're being a great neighbor just by visiting and tending any of those Royal crew positions. Stick with your best guess and keep up what you're doing, or ask your friend a question by message or by chat.
Royal crew tending
Doesn't work on mine :(
Currently Broken
There's a known problem right now that's preventing it from working. Zynga says that they're working on a fix.
Good to know - hopefully they will fix it soon!
This would/will be a wonderful thing and I was very disappointed when it did not work for me, either. Good to know that it is being worked on!
It's fixed!
And it's wonderful! Thank you!
Not WOrking For Me still. :(

Question re: Icon
I see what the royal crew icon is and means, but what's the other icon on the left hand side mean?
Re: Question re: Icon
The icon on the left means that you have an Alliance with that neighbor.
